Check out these videos to see what these cool planes can do! Of course, it takes the right kind of plane and lots of practice for a pilot to be able to do these.

Lookin’ for a place to race?

Want more than just racing your RC vehicle with a few friends in the cul-de-sac or an empty parking lot? Here’s a resource to find out if there are tracks in your area—ROAR* Click on the Track Locator button on the left. You can also find details about ROAR races.

* ROAR (Remotely Operated Auto Racers) is the official US/Canadian sanctioning body for racing R/C cars.

In the News

Yep. Back on the web. Found this site: http://www.rc-me.com/ that has RC Hobby News. It has links to newspaper articles that mention RC vehicles or mention an RC event. Warning: some articles got the “what the heck?” reaction from me as they didn’t have nothing to do with RC. Whatever. But there were cool pics of the C.O.R.K.S. Fly-in. And the site has a forum which might be useful.

Something else I want to try

This surfing the web stuff is dangerous.

By landing on this site, http://sailrc.com/modelsailingcenter/home.html, I found something else I want to try. Real sailing boats in landlocked Kansas are kinda ridiculous, but an RC sailboat, now that’s a horse of a different color.

I might have to try the ABC North Wind 28 Sailboat, though if I get serious about it, this racing craft--Nirvana II Sloop--looks cool!
